Captain's FOB blinks green, that indicates that it is still connected to the hub. The connection between the Hub and the FOB can be approximately 50ft to 100ft, depending on structures, etc in the area. You may want to check the settings for the Captain's FOB which allow the FOB to automatically connect to the HUB.
I have attached a page from the 1st Mate Owner's Manual that goes over the auto-connect feature. You can also download the complete owner's manual from our website by going to 1stMate.com > support>support documents>owner's manual. There are also FAQs and videos available under support that you may find helpful as well. To disable the auto-connect option for the Captains Fob, with the FOB connected to the HUB (the top half green circle for the Captains FOB) simply tap on "Captain" and this will bring up the information for the Captain's FOB including "FOB Settings". From this screen you will see "Fob Auto Connect" with a toggle button to the right. To turn the auto connect feature off just simply touch to the toggle button and it should slide to the left and go from a green back ground to a gray back ground that indicates that the auto connect feature is now turned off.
