Is the 1st Mate system in compliance with the United States Coast Guard(USCG) Engine Cut-Off Switch (ECOS) Law?

Yes, the 1st Mate wireless lanyard system can be used in place of the traditional corded lanyard. However, if your boat is equipped with a traditional corded lanyard system, please be aware that the corded lanyard can be used in place of the wireless lanyard if the wireless system is not available (e.g. lost, unavailable or damaged fob, etc.).
